ABOUT Independent Publishing Fair Mainz 2014 May 30 — June 01
Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm…
Gestern habe ich schon mal die vier Boxen mit den Ständern aufgebaut und angeschlossen, das waren immerhin 70 Meter Audio- und 20 Meter Netzkabel.
Ich konnte im leeren Raum überall noch gut dran, denn wenn dann alle Leute dort ihre Ständchen und Regale aufstellen und überall die ganzen Bücherkartons herumstehen, wird das sehr schwierig für mich.
Die Keyboardständer sind auch schon aufgebaut, dann brauche ich am Samstag Morgen nur noch mit den Geräten und Mixer anrücken.
Am Samstag (31.05.) sowie am Sonntag (01.06.) werde ich wieder die Mainzer Buchmesse mit jeweils ca. 3 Stunden quadrophonischen Klängen unterstützen.
»Let´s talk ABOUT« is the motto of the ABOUT Independent Publishing Fair in Mainz.
This fair for small publishing houses and self-publishers that work within the fields of art and design is taking place from Friday 30th May to sunday 1st of June 2014.
Located on the spacious premises of FH Mainz – University of Applied Sciences, ABOUT offers more than 200 square meters for the presentation and sale of a great variety of publications.
With more than 25 participants from all across the country and a focus on the presentation of student’s publications from various art academies, it facilitates exchange and dialogue with like-minded people as well as the general public.
Along with the fair, we have organized the exhibition »RINGTONES« which will showcase 16 ringtones by international designers.
Also on saturday there will be an SPEAK-DATING Event and the cozy ABOUT-Party.
